If you're managing a substantial number of products, finding and managing specific items can be a daunting task. Archiving offers a solution by allowing you to temporarily remove products from your inventory dashboard without permanently deleting them. By archiving products, you can improve overall efficiency by enabling easier navigation and improved searchability. The following guide provides steps on how to archive and unarchive products.
Important note: Orders will not be able to be created or fulfilled with archived products. Please ensure the products are removed/deactivated from your online sales channel prior to archiving them in the Spaceful platform.
1. Visit the merchant dashboard and select the Inventory tab.
2. Locate the product you wish to archived and press the Archive button on the right hand side.
Note: Only products that do not have quantities in the preparing column (associated to a pending or in progress order) can be archived. If this is the case, you will need to wait until all associated orders have been shipped for this product before archiving it.
Viewing archived products
In order to be view archived products, visit the inventory dashboard, and perform a quick search for "archived" and all archived products will appear in the search results below.
To unarchived products, follow the above step to view your archived products. Locate the product you wish to unarchive and press the Unarchive button on the right hand side.
TIP: The bulk editor can be used to select products and have all the selections archived or unarchived, saving you time! Once one or more selections have been made, the bulk options button will appear above the search results and can be selected to execute multiple actions.
