Once you’ve completed the integration between your eCommerce platform and Spaceful, our team is ready to fulfill your orders following our standard operating procedures.
Our standard operating procedures are the core of what we do for our merchants. The following services make up the core of the Spaceful eCommerce fulfillment process.
Once your inventory arrives at our warehouse, we count each item against the warehouse receiving order (WRO) you have created on the Spaceful platform and store your items in our fulfillment centers. Each SKU has a separate dedicated storage location(s), either on pallets or bins. Spaceful maintains a record of all inventory movement at each individual location, tracked by our system.
As soon as an order is placed on your eCommerce platform, Spaceful is made aware and automatically sends the order for preparation. We assign the orders to our picking team, who receive the order details (items, quantities, storage locations) to procure and count to complete the order.
After an order has been picked, our team begins the packaging process. Our packaging team scans each order, verifies the items & quantities of the order’s contents, and then packs the order into our standard packaging material as safely and efficiently as possible.
For each order, the Spaceful proprietary algorithm finds the most optimal shipping service suited to your order. As soon as the order ships, tracking info is pushed to your Shoppers to give them insight into where their order is. Our carriers sometimes do not scan each package at our facility, so the first tracking scan or update occurs upon arrival at that carrier's origin facility, once it has left our building.
Spaceful understands that every business has specific needs and we’re happy to provide flexible and tailored solutions specific to your needs. The following are not automatically included in Spaceful’s fulfillment services and require setup to execute properly.
